The council has successfully caught, fined and prosecuted for a range of environmental crimes, such as fly-tipping, littering and failing to clear up after their dogs. Some of the offenders include the following people, who were all taken to court by Nottingham City Council:

- Neal Donachie of Zulla Road, Nottingham was ordered to pay £476 for littering in Nottingham on 18 January 2017.
- Malgorzata Stachowiak of Bradford Road, Nottingham was ordered to pay £495 for littering in Nottingham on 18 January 2017.
- Jody Gilding of Ranskill Gardens, Nottingham was ordered to pay £476 for littering in Nottingham on 18 January 2017.
- Paulette McDonald of Whitechapel Street, Nottingham was ordered to pay £476 for littering in Nottingham on 18 January 2017.
- Madasar Maroof of Port Arthur Road, Nottingham was ordered to pay £854.70 for fly-tipping in Nottingham on 11 January 2017
- Mr Kaiser Mahmood of Russell Road, Nottingham was ordered to pay £350 for littering in Nottingham on 25 January 2017.
- Eldville Daukinate of Elvaston Road, Nottingham was ordered to pay £331 for littering in Nottingham on 25 January 2017.
- Virdee Gurdeep Singh of The Wells Road, Nottingham was ordered to pay £331 for littering in Nottingham on 15 February 2017.
- Charlotte Cotterill of Luther Close, Nottingham was ordered to pay £256 for littering in Nottingham on 8 February 2017.
- Ahmed Kudrat of Hornchurch Road, Nottingham was ordered to pay £476 for littering in Nottingham on 8 February 2017.
- Adrian Warden of Cheltenham Street, Nottingham was ordered to pay £494 for littering in Nottingham on 8 February 2017.
- Gareth Dawson of St Christopher Street, Nottingham was ordered to pay £476 for littering in Nottingham on 8 February 2017.
- Maria Bada of Berridge Road West, Nottingham was ordered to pay £ 95 for littering in Nottingham on 11 January 2017.
- Sharon Kirby of Cairns Close, Nottingham was ordered to pay £494.98 for littering in Nottingham on 15 March 2017
- Pardaian Lacatus of Holland Street, Nottingham was ordered to pay £476.32 for littering in Nottingham on 22 March 2017.
- Samantha Howarth of Talbot Drive, Nottingham was ordered to pay £494.98 for littering in Nottingham on 15 March 2017.
- Richard Baldry of Broxtowe Lane was ordered to pay £494.98 for littering in Nottingham on 15 March 2017.
- Sarah Knowles of Deepdene Way was ordered to pay £494.98 for littering in Nottingham on 15 March 2017.
Why prosecute?
We prosecute people who fail to pay the fines issued by our Community Protection Officers. Going to court leaves offenders with a criminal record, and a fine of up to £2,500, depending on the severity of the case.
