The Lord Mayor joined with the Nottingham Jewish community in celebrating Hanukkah with the lighting of the Menorah, the traditional nine-branched candlestick at the Council House on Thursday evening.
After the lighting of the flames, everyone shared doughnuts and potato latkes. The blue Dreidel Man represents the spinning top used in a traditional Hanukkah game.
