The City Centre Greyhound Street toilets, just off Old Market Square, are being given a ‘spruce up with a full deep clean to all areas, minor work improvements and new decoration.

The work will be undertaken from Monday 24 April and will be completed by the morning of Friday 28 April.  To keep disruption to the public to a minimum, the toilets will be closed Monday to Thursday between the times of 8pm and 6am.

The toilets also have a ‘Changing Places’ facility for people with disabilities, with equipment that includes a height adjustable changing bench and hoist.

Councillor Nicola Heaton, Nottingham City Council’s Portfolio Holder for Community Services, said: “This work is needed to ensure the toilets are of the highest standard. These improvements are being carried out as quickly as possible to minimise any disruption to the public.”
