The UK’s largest community tennis centre is looking to get more Nottingham people onto court this summer with an exclusive free tennis offer.
A successful summer of tennis has seen heightened interest in the sport in Nottingham and beyond. Nottingham Tennis Centre has, on the back of this and the recent Davis Cup outcome decided to open up its courts throughout August to make tennis accessible to people of all ages and abilities.
As part of the Great British Tennis Weekend the centre is hosting an open tennis day on Saturday 22 August, 3pm – 6pm offering free tennis for everyone to come along, join in to try both traditional and non-traditional forms of the game. Sessions include Mini Tennis for players aged 3 – 10, tennis for teenagers, adult coaching and cardio tennis. Other exclusive offers during August include Free Tennis Coaching and Free Court Hire. Anyone who would like to try tennis for free can also book a FREE Tennis Experience. With a total of 39 courts including 11 indoors Nottingham Tennis Centre is the UK’s largest community tennis centre and is celebrating 25 years since opening this year.
To mark the anniversary, a family open day is taking place on Saturday 5 September, 11am – 5pm including free tennis and fitness activities plus Skateboard and BMX exhibitions with have a go sessions. More details will be released shortly.
