The Leader of Nottingham City Council has condemned last night’s attack in Vienna, Austria.
Councillor David Mellen said: “This shocking and senseless act of violence has come so soon after another attack in France last week, and my thoughts are with the friends and families of the victims.
“Appalling incidents like this, which kill innocent people and devastate the lives of their loved ones, bring into sharp focus the need for us all to respect each other’s beliefs and values. Nottingham will continue to campaign and educate against hate or prejudice, and we stand together with Austria and France today.”
