Councillor Jon Collins, Leader of Nottingham City Council, said: “Our thoughts this morning are with the victims and families of this brutal and murderous attack on the streets of London. Once again, we pay tribute to the emergency services who worked tirelessly through the night in response to this terrible event.
This was a criminal and cowardly attack on innocent people simply going about their business on a night out in London. Here in Nottingham we remain prepared to deal with an incident of this kind and we will continue to review our plans with the police in light of last night’s events..
