Nottingham’s 60-foot flag has been unfurled on the Council House to show the city’s support for England in the latter stages of this year’s European Championship.
The flag, believed to be the largest in the country, measures 60ft by 26ft (18m by 8m) and covers most of the building’s frontage. Its installation is being sponsored by construction company Willmott Dixon and signage and print company John E Wright and Co Ltd.
It was in put place ahead of England’s victorious last-eight clash with Switzerland on Saturday.
