A book of condolence has been opened at Nottingham’s Council House for the victims of the attack in Pakistan on Easter Sunday.

The attack in a park in Lahore killed 70 people, coming days after the world mourned the death of 35 people in Brussels following an attack.

City Council Leader, Councillor Jon Collins, said: “It is difficult to imagine how a peaceful trip to a park could end in such terrible tragedy, and our thoughts are with the victims, survivors and their families.”
