Hate Crime Awareness Week is going online this year! Organisations in Nottingham are coming together for a range of events for National Hate Crime Awareness Week 2020, running from 10 to 17 October 2020. We can’t meet this year, but we can still get together and talk, spreading hope not hate! Nottingham City Council will also be launching the partnership Hate Crime Strategy for the city and a toolkit for effective ways to respond to prejudice through conversation called Nottingham Together, Let’s Talk!

Launch event: Nottingham Together, Let’s Talk About… tackling prejudice
Organised by Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire Police
Hear from local groups using different tactics to tackle prejudice in Nottingham at the launch of the Nottingham City Hate Crime Strategy. We are pleased to be joined by Mike Waite from the Tim Parry Jonathan Bell Peace Foundation who will be talking about their work resolving conflict through conversation. Hosted by Cllr Rebecca Langton and featuring a panel of local groups working against hate in Nottingham.
