A new polling station has been arranged for tomorrow’s Police and Crime Commissioner election in Nottingham’s Radford ward.
Radford and Lenton Library, on Lenton Boulevard, was originally going to be used but the building’s roof suffered a leak overnight on Tuesday which caused some minor electrical damage.
Voters will now be able to cast their ballot tomorrow (Thursday) between 7am and 10pm at the nearby John Carroll Leisure Centre, on Denman Street Central.
The substitute venue is around 600m from the library. Signage and maps directing electors to the new venue will be in place at Radford and Lenton Library, while Community Protection Officers will be in place all day to direct members of the public.
