Tram offers New Year travel savings Regular users of Nottingham’s tram network can save money in the New Year by investing in a season ticket or switching to a smart card to pay for their travel.

As people return to work after the festive holidays, tram customers are being reminded of the benefits of MANGO cards and a range of season tickets that offer unlimited travel for one, three, six or 12 months. Weekly tickets are also available.

Jamie Swift, NET Marketing Manager, explained: “Our season ticket offers cost as little as £1.23 per day and make perfect sense for people who use the tram to get to work.

“For those less frequent customers, a MANGO card is another fantastic money-saving option, offering 25% off standard adult fares as well as short hops costing just £1.”

Jamie added: “For many people, saving money will be near the top of their New Year resolution list, and cutting down on travel costs by pre-paying on the tram is a great way to start.”

Further information about both season tickets and MANGO are available atwww.thetram.net or by calling into the NET Travel Centre in King Street, just off Old Market Square.
