Nottingham City Council will be carrying out resurfacing works on Abbey Bridge roundabout, at the end of Castle Boulevard, over four nights.
Work will take place from Tuesday 12 September – Friday 15 September 7pm-11pm and will involve the following road closures:
- The section of Park Road that connects to the roundabout will be closed. A local diversion will be in place for access
- Abbey Bridge will be closed just past the junction with Hoyland Avenue
- Sherwin Road will be closed
- Castle Boulevard will be closed after the junction of Alderney Street.
This resurfacing work marks the final phase of the roundabout improvement scheme, which began in July. By completing this work overnight during reduced traffic periods, we aim to minimise disruption in the area. The newly resurfaced roundabout will have increased capacity and traffic should flow better than it did before.
