Nottingham City Council will soon be carrying out planned resurfacing works on Meadows Way between the junctions of Waldron Close and Lammas Gardens. The work will begin on Monday 6th July and is due to be completed on Tuesday 21st July. Working times will be restricted to the daytime hours between 8.00am and 16.00pm each day.

During the work, Meadows Way will be open to through traffic, but temporary lights will be used to manage traffic so road users should allow extra time for journeys. It may also be necessary to temporarily move some bus stops during this work. Access to the side streets will be restricted at times but the Council will ensure that residents always have access to their property, although there may be short delays.

For more information about the works or to discuss special access requirements call 0115 915 2000.

Councillor Nick McDonald, Portfolio Holder for Growth, Jobs and Transport at Nottingham City Council, said: “This scheme forms part of the City Council’s highway maintenance programme and the work being carried out will ensure that Meadows Way continues to be safe for all road users. This is a busy bus route, so there will be some delays to traffic flow which may cause inconvenience. We thank road users in advance for their cooperation in helping us carry out these important works”
