Nottingham’s civic carol services takes place at St Mary’s Church in the Lace Market place next week.

The Lord Mayor of Nottingham’s Christmas Carol Service is on Tuesday, December 8. The service begins at 6.30pm with guests and congregation seated by 6.15pm.

A procession from Nottingham’s Old Market Square to St Mary’s leaves the Council House at 6pm led by Nottingham Boys’ Brigade and Nottinghamshire District Girls Brigade Band.

Anyone wishing to attend is asked to contact the Council’s Civic Office to book places by phoning 0115 876 5654 or emailing civic.office@nottinghamcity.gov.uk. Because of the limited capacity at St Mary’s a maximum of two tickets per person will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

The Lord Mayor of Nottingham, Councillor Jackie Morris, said: “The Carol Service at St Mary’s is always a lovely Christmas event. It is an opportunity to mark the festive season with a special Christmas evening.”
