This festive season, embrace the spirit of sustainability and community at Nottingham’s Big Christmas Jumper Swap! Whether you’ve outgrown last year’s jumper or want a fresh design, this event invites you to participate in the circular economy while spreading holiday cheer.

From 22 November to 6 December, we are collecting clean and lightly used Christmas jumpers for children and adults, which will be ready for swapping at the main event on 7 December at Nottingham Central Library.

Drop-off Locations:

  • Woodthorpe Plant Shop
  • Homemade Café on the Arboretum

Please note that you can turn up with a jumper to swap at the main event, too.

The Big Christmas Jumper Swap Event Details:

  • When: Saturday 7 December 2024
  • Where: Nottingham Central Library
  • Time: Drop-in for jumper swaps from 10am; Story Time sessions at 10am and 11am

Story Time with Nicky Rafferty:

Adding a touch of magic to the event, local storyteller Nicky Rafferty will charm audiences with a heart warming tale of a magical Christmas jumper. Bring the kids, swap a jumper, and stay for the stories!

Terms & Conditions:

  • Donating a jumper does not guarantee a specific replacement.
  • Jumpers must be clean and lightly used.
  • All sizes are welcome, from baby to adult.
  • Donated jumpers cannot be returned and hold no monetary value.
