Nottingham residents are invited to take part in the Big Christmas Jumper Swap and a special children’s storytelling session on December 7th at Nottingham Central Library.

From 22 November to 6 December 24, you can donate clean, lightly used Christmas jumpers at Woodthorpe Plant Shop or Homemade Café on the Arboretum, and then come along on 7 December at the Central Library to swap your jumper for a new (to you) one!

As part of the event, there will be fun children’s Christmas storytelling and craft sessions at 10 am and 11 am.

Details:

  • Jumpers drop-off: 22 November to 6 December at Woodthorpe Plant Shop or Homemade Café
  • Swap event: 7 December at Nottingham Central Library
  • Storytelling sessions: 10 am & 11 am on 7 December, tickets available via Eventbrite
  • Donations must be clean and lightly used

This initiative supports the circular economy by reusing festive jumpers, as 1 in 4 Christmas jumpers are only worn once.
