Archery

This weekend, the best of the UK’s archery talent will assemble at Victoria Embankment for the National Tour Final.

On Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September, spectators will fill the stands and livestream the action at home from across the world as they watch the archers compete for the top podium spots in the disciplines of recurve, compound, and barebow archery.

19-year-old Oliver Hicks, Youth European Champion and world record holder, will return to defend his title at the Final in the barebow open category. World number two compound female archer, Ella Gibson, will also be vying to retain her crown to win for a second year running. In the recurve division, there will be several Olympians competing, including Paris athletes Penny Healey and Megan Havers, and two-time Olympian Patrick Huston.

This is the first time the National Tour Final has been held at Victoria Embankment alongside the scenic River Trent. The archers will enter the stage through the war memorial archway, welcomed by a chorus of support from friends, families, and fans.

Not only will they be able to watch the action live, ticket holders will also be able to meet the athletes, try their hand at archery, and be in with a chance of winning several prizes from generous event sponsors.
