Wollaton Hall

Explore Wollaton with the Wizard outdoor trail. Discover a behind-the-scenes look at Wollaton Hall with Hidden History Tours. Enjoy an outdoor cinema experience like no other with Hocus Pocus (PG), The Lost Boys (15) and  Scream (18).

There are some creative ‘Make and take’ Halloween activities in the Hall that can be followed by an autumnal walk in Wollaton Park.

Nottingham Castle

Don’t miss out on the FREE admission day to Nottingham Castle on Tuesday 31 October. As a part of the Nottingham Halloween Festival in partnership with It’s in Nottingham there will be a range of activities, face painters, selfie stations and family-friendly ghost-hunting adventures.

Throughout half term hear the myths & legends in the Hooded Horrors Halloween Tour of the castle dungeon. There will be a range of family-friendly activities like the indoor ‘Spider’ trail and discover the homes of four families, each connected to Nottingham’s history of textiles in Brewhouse Yard.

Newstead Abbey & Gardens

Head to Newstead Abbey for fun for all the family with the Traditional rides at Newstead Park. The funfair will be open from Saturday 21 October – Sunday 5 October.

There is a chance to discover the Historic house of Lord Byron with ‘Meet the Ghosts’ house tours, outdoor trails and more. Keep your eyes peeled for the ‘Naughty Gnomes of Newstead‘ inside the Historic House.

An outdoor cinema experience like no other this half term with Ghostbusters (12), Beetlejuice (15) and Hocus Pocus (PG)
