The death of Jo Cox MP is being marked in Nottingham today.
Flags are being flown at half-mast on the Council House and at Nottingham Castle, and a book of condolence has been opened at the Council House.
City Council Leader Councillor Jon Collins said: ““The whole country is shocked by the killing of Jo Cox while she was carrying out her duties as an MP and our thoughts are with her husband and children at this terrible time.”
