Yesterday it was announced that Korie Cull, Senior Designer at Nottingham-based digital design agency Affari Media has been named The Guardian’s ‘Rising Star 2015’ for his outstanding work – after being one of the first people placed through the Nottingham Jobs Fund when it started.

The company have used the Nottingham Jobs service to recruit three times, doubling the size of their initial set up, which has allowed them to pitch for more business, including a prestigious account with Fujitsu, and clients from Germany and the US.

Korie Cull, Senior Designer at Nottingham based digital design agency Affari Media, has won The Guardian newspaper’s Award for ‘The Rising Star 2015’!

Korie was shortlisted for this award last October, which pays tribute to young people who have made immense achievements in business, and was awarded the title last Thursday at The Yard in Shoreditch, London. In the 2 1/2 years Korie has been with Affari, the company has grown three-fold, taking on clients amongst the likes of Fujitsu and Microsoft.

Korie has been a main player in acquiring these achievements for the agency, his design work for digital marketing campaigns for these companies has been described as ‘Innovative’, ‘Ground-breaking’ and ‘Exceptional’, keeping big player clients coming back for more, with one of his projects going on to be shortlisted for the prestigious B2B Marketing Awards last November.
