Nottingham’s most popular music festival returns to Wollaton Park this Saturday 22 July with a fantastic day out lined up for a close to sell-out crowd of over 23,000 music fans with final few tickets available online.

Tickets have been selling fast thanks to a great line up including Kaiser Chiefs, Busted and Tony Hadley.

Splendour is famous as the city’s biggest summer day out and has been shortlisted in the final three for Best Festival in the national Live Music Business awards.

Ticket holders can enjoy storming sets from the headliners and other acts across three music stages and a comedy stage. With a kids’ area, entertainers out and about in the crowd and roaming animatronic dinosaurs, there’s loads to see and enjoy.

Nottingham City Council works in partnership with DHP to present Splendour Festival, with Nottingham City Council’s events team providing:

  • Event and site management
  • Staging, lighting and sound
  • Parking and traffic management
  • Security, stewarding and safety management, including first aid and policing

Nottingham City Council’s parks team also provides grounds maintenance and clear-up.

Nottingham City Council’s events team will manage a diverse range of festivals and events in 2017, including Nottingham Riverside Festival, Robin Hood Pageant, and Goose Fair.

Councillor Dave Trimble, Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Culture at Nottingham City Council, said: “Splendour is the jewel in the crown of our events programme and we’re proud to work with DHP to put on the festival, as well as offering Nottingham city residents a discounted ticket price. Splendour truly offers something for all tastes in music, and with the comedy stage and kids’ area, Saturday looks set to be a really fun family day out.”
