A number of parks across the city have been closed today for safety reasons due to the high winds.
People are being advised to avoid entering all open spaces with the Met Office issuing an Amber warning for wind today due to Storm Ciara.
The parks that have been closed are as follows:
Wollaton Park
Newstead Abbey
Arboretum Park
Woodthorpe Park
Colwick Park
Clifton playing fields
Station Street has now reopened but following roads remain closed due to the adverse weather:
From the junction of London Road / Queens Road to the junction of Waterway Street / Queens Drive.
