Nottingham City Council will soon be carrying out planned resurfacing works on Queens Drive (City inbound) between the junction of Crossgate Drive and Enterprise Way. We will also be taking the opportunity to resurface a section of Queens Drive (City inbound) at the junction of Riverside Way.

The work will begin on Sunday 26th July and is due to be completed on Friday 31st July. Apart from Sunday 26th July when the work will be carried out between 9am and 11pm, all other working times will be restricted to the night time hours between 6pm and 11pm each night. Temporary lights will be used to manage traffic so road users should allow extra time for journeys.

For more information about the works or to discuss special access requirements call 0115 915 2000.

Councillor Nick McDonald, Portfolio Holder for Growth, Jobs and Transport at Nottingham City Council, said: “This scheme forms part of the City Council’s highway maintenance programme and the work being carried out will ensure that Queens Drive continues to be safe for all road users. To minimise disruption this work will take place outside of peak traffic hours but this is a busy route, so there will be some delays to traffic flow which may cause inconvenience. We would like to thank people for their continued patience while works continue on our roads”
