The ATP Challenger – which runs concurrently alongside the women’s WTA tournament featuring last year’s champion Ash Barty and British No.1 Johanna Konta – takes place from 8-16 June 2019.

Ward was part of the Great Britain team that won the Davis Cup in 2015, while Clarke made his grand slam singles debut at Wimbledon last year.

Former World No.8 and crowd favourite Marcos Baghdatis – who won the 2014 Aegon Trophy in Nottingham – reached the Nottingham (ATP 250) semi-final in 2015 and the Nottingham (ATP 250) quarter-final in 2016.

Bernard Tomic, a Wimbledon quarter-finalist in 2011, is also in the draw, along with Mikael Ymer who was a junior Wimbledon finalist in 2015.

Tournament Director, Rebecca James, said: “This is an exciting men’s line-up and it is great to have two British stars coming to the event.

“The quality of the men’s event increases year on year and I am sure a lot of the home support will be looking forward to seeing the British players.

“Some of these players are the stars of the future – while there are some popular experienced players returning – so it is a great mix for fans and we look forward to welcoming everyone to the Nottingham Tennis Centre to enjoy some quality tennis during the week.”

The Nature Valley Open takes place at the Nottingham Tennis Centre from 8 June 2019 – centre court ticket prices start from just £10 for children under 16 and £21 for adults.
